Summary:

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team using evidence-based promotion, prevention and intervention strategies that foster the growth of children with developmental, behavioral and/or social emotional concerns. Work collaboratively with local mental health agencies to facilitate appropriate and effective referrals across multiple systems. Provide support groups and training to parents and teaching staff.

 Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Licensure required (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW or LMFT).

Experience:

  • Must have professional experience delivering mental health services to children age birth through five and those who care for them within a natural setting.

 Qualities and Skills:

  • Bi-Lingual Preferred.
  • Working knowledge of trauma-informed practices and experience with developing individual treatment plans for children age birth through five required.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.
