Starting Pay: $70,866 ($2725.65 bi-weekly)

Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Education Manager serves to develop and oversee the educational programming for Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Head Start Expansion, and the Migrant Head Start program.  Position ensures the educational objectives are aligned to both Federal and State Frameworks, and oversees that the instructional practices yield the highest standards of achievement, instructional excellence, and community support.

Work in a team environment to provide the instructional, cultural, and curricular leadership that creates, implements, maintains, and enhances excellence, creativity, and achievement in the classroom environment for the overall Head Start Educational component.

Education and Certification Requirements:

A successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Early Education or related field and hold Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) LTPS, LTIT, and DII certification.

 Experience:

2-5 years of senior management experience in an educational setting

Qualities and Skills:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required.
