H•C•S Head Start is more than child care
We provide early childhood education, to prepare preschool children for kindergarten, and for life.
All children’s programs include healthy snacks and meals, nutrition services, mental health screenings, services for children with special needs, health and oral health care, and family programs and services for parents of enrolled children.
H•C•S Head Start is for parents & families, too!
HCS Head Start is not just a program for your child – it’s a program for you. We provide family and parent support, and opportunities for families to engage in a child’s education and in the HCS Head Start community.
We also provide family and parent programs including cooking, money management, parenting classes, a healthy relationships program, and more.
Head Start Children’s Programs
HCS Head Start provides a variety of program options for children from 0-5 years of age. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of families and children, and include full and part-day classes.
Parent, Family & Community Programs
Head Start’s Parent, Family & Community Engagement Programs are designed to support a family’s well-being, strengthen the relationships between parents and their children, build partnerships between parents and staff and encourage on-going learning for families.
CFCE | Holyoke Chicopee Family & Community Program
The Holyoke Chicopee Family and Community Program is your local Massachusetts CFCE branch. This program provides a variety of opportunities at no cost for families with young children living in Holyoke or Chicopee.
